Role Overview
As a Junior SEO Consultant, you’ll work alongside experienced SEO professionals to assist in implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies, conducting keyword research, and analyzing website performance. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and build a career in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Assist in optimizing website content for search engines (meta tags, headings, internal linking, etc.)
- Help monitor and report on website traffic and rankings using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Support link-building campaigns through outreach and content promotion
- Perform basic SEO audits and provide actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of practical SEO experience (internship, freelance, or agency experience counts)
- Basic understanding of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and at least one keyword research tool
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Good written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of SEO
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Previous experience with content writing or digital marketing
