Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Software Development Project Manager to work closely with our VP of Development, Eric Katz, and cross-functional product teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving execution of multiple SaaS development projects, coordinating between stakeholders, development teams, and business leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality software on time and within scope.
We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Software Development Project Manager to work closely with our VP of Development, Eric Katz, and cross-functional product teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving execution of multiple SaaS development projects, coordinating between stakeholders, development teams, and business leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality software on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Management
- Assist VP of Development in managing end-to-end software project lifecycles.
- Develop project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and release schedules for multiple concurrent SaaS platforms.
- Track project progress and ensure alignment with milestones and deliverables.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and dependencies, and proactively work on mitigation strategies.
- Team & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact between product managers, developers, QA teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Schedule and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Ensure transparency and documentation across all teams and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement & Tools
- Monitor and optimize software development workflows.
- Implement and manage tools like Jira, Trello, Confluence, Slack, or similar for task tracking and communication.
- Suggest and refine project management best practices to scale the development process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Support teams for feature rollouts, product launches, and customer feedback loops.
- Coordinate with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA engineers to align execution with business objectives.
- Quality & Delivery
- Maintain accountability for the timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Support testing efforts and release coordination for staging and production environments.
Qualifications
Required:
Required:
- 3–6 years of experience in software or SaaS project management.
- Strong working knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing remote, cross-functional development teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Notion).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Technically proficient — able to understand development terminology, workflows, and APIs.
Preferred:
- Experience with fintech, payment gateways, or SaaS platforms.
- Background in working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Understanding of development stacks such as MERN, LAMP, or similar.
